Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Florida on July 18, 2026, and are currently being held as the United Kingdom seeks their extradition to face criminal charges, including allegations of rape and human trafficking. In 2024, Justin Waller, a business associate of Tate, said he had visited Mar-a-Lago and interacted with Barron Trump.

Tate himself claimed to have spoken with Barron after the 2024 assassination attempt against Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.
